START THE CONVERSATION
You kick things off by filling out the contact form and telling us a little about your session ideas. We'll give you a call to discuss your session further and to schedule your session consultation. We only photograph 20 seniors each year so it's really important that you contacted us early!

Your consultation is where we start building the session around you. We’ll talk through your style, outfits, locations, personality, explain our portrait process, and answer any questions you may have. This helps us create a senior session that feels organized, personal, and completely your own.
Your Senior Session Day
This is when the whole thing gets fun! We’ll start your session day with hair and makeup with Amanda, then head off to the first location. Your senior session will be filled with laughter, movement, and plenty of fun. Don't worry — we keep things easy, guide you the whole time, and together we'll chase the golden hour light until the sun goes down.
Design your portrait art
At your personal View + Choose appointment, we’ll show you your finished images and help you select your favorites. From albums to canvas wall portraits, we’ll work one-on-one with you to design a collection that fits your photos, your style, and your home.
Bring It Home
When your portrait order is ready, we’ll schedule a pickup or installation time. And yes, we install all multi-image wall art for our clients — so your favorite senior photos actually make it onto the wall, exactly where they belong.

We met at Ridgewater College back in 2008 while we were both pursuing professional photo degrees. You could say our relationship 'developed' from there. 😉 Ok, yeah... bad photographer joke, but we've been working together ever since to create the ultimate portrait experience for Minnesota high school seniors.

Every senior session includes the full AHP experience — planning help, professional hair and makeup, 2–3 hour session, unlimited outfits, and as much location variety as we can squeeze in before the sun goes down. Following your session, you’ll visit the studio for a view + choose appointment where we help you pick your favorite images and turn them into printed portrait art.
Collections begin at $1,650 and include a mix of printed artwork and high-resolution digital images. For full investment details, reach out and request our senior magazine.

Working with Adam & Amanda for my daughter’s senior photos was really fun and so easy. Adam is very organized and has a fantastic eye for light and color. My daughter’s hair and make-up was tastefully done by Amanda and stayed perfect, even on a very hot evening. Adam captured my daughter’s essence and brought out her personality in every shot and location he chose for the session. He really put her at ease the entire time. Our biggest request was that her portraits not be “like everyone else’s” and I am so pleased to say we accomplished that working with Adam.

I’ve never felt comfortable in the spotlight, but Adam and Amanda made it so easy. Amanda did an amazing job making me look my best and also feel my best. Our sessions take place all across Minnesota. We love incorporating locations that are meaningful to our clients or if you don't have any location ideas, we have many locations we can suggest, too. At your consultation, we will discuss your session locations thoroughly and show you examples of past sessions to get a better idea of which locations fit you best.
We don't. You see, we believe that doing a senior session in anything less than 2 hours is doing you a disservice. Every client needs time to warm up and to show all aspects of their personality. We have one session option and that session is typically between 2 to 3.5 hours long. This gives you a great variety of locations and time to get comfortable in front of the camera, too!
We don't have a set limit, but can we offer you a little advice? Nothing drains your energy more than outfit changes during your senior session. For that reason, we suggest 4 outfits to our seniors. (something casual, something dressy, a sports / activity outfit, and something fun) It's the perfect variety of looks without feeling like you've spent your entire session changing clothes!
Oh my gosh, YES! And we wouldn't have it any other way. Here's why - makeup and hair for photography is vastly different than every day makeup. Amanda's expertise in camera-ready makeup and hair is invaluable for our clients! Show up to your session and let Amanda do her work and have the best stress-free experience before we put you in front of the camera. Amanda is great at natural, elevated makeup that gives you a youthful appearance while still looking like, you! Her photography background paired with her professional makeup education makes her the perfect fit for your session day styling. P.S. She does men's finishing, too and it's a game changer for our senior guys!

Yes! All of our collections include high-resolution digital files! Our most popular Archive Collection includes all of the images presented to you at your view + choose appointment (50+ images) as well as our popular Gallery Album for you to enjoy for many years to come! It's the perfect blend of digital and tangible portrait art!
Nope. 🙃 Don't freak out. We've been doing this for 15+ years and any time we have done this it just stressed everybody out! Instead, we offer a complimentary family session to each of our seniors and their families that can be used thru graduation. Scheduling the family session on a separate day keeps the attention on the senior on their session day and it's less stressful for everyone involved.
