You fill out the contact form and we do a happy dance! We photograph a very limited number of sessions each year so it's great that you contacted us early! After receiving your inquiry, we'll give you a call to discuss your session further and to schedule your session consultation!

During this appointment we get your ideas on paper and begin crafting your custom session. From locations to what to wear, we talk about it all! If you're ready to book, we schedule your session, sign your portrait contracts, and deliver session planning guides to prepare you for your upcoming family session.

You get to see your photos! We will work with you one on one to choose your portrait art using a unique selection process. All of your portrait art will be designed right in front of you during this hands-on appointment! Want to see your canvas collection on your wall before you order it? We can do that, too!
Portrait install / pick-up
It’s the best part! Your portrait art is delivered and installed for you to enjoy! Don’t worry about how or where to hang your new art products. We install all multi-image wall art for you! Hey husbands... did you hear that? We install all wall art products for you! Okay... just thought we should make that completely clear.

We’ve had Adam take our family pictures twice now, and he does a great job! I highly recommend working with him and Amanda. They do amazing with the kids, and make the whole session fun for everyone involved. He’s helped us find great locations, and even given outfit ideas/color suggestions. The first time we worked with him a few years ago, he helped me design a photo ledge with a mix of framed photos, and a wood print. Most recently, he helped us create a family photo gallery with a mix of canvases, floating-frame canvases, and framed pictures. The best part is that he’ll come install them on your wall for you!! The investment is 100% worth it for the quality products and service that he provides.

Our sessions take place all across Minnesota. We love incorporating special locations that are meaningful to our clients (your home, cabin, or special hangout spot) but if you don't have any location ideas, we have many locations we can suggest, too. At your consultation, we will discuss your session locations thoroughly and show you examples of past sessions to get a better idea of which locations fit you best.
We don't. You see, we believe that putting a time limit on a session (especially family sessions) is never a good idea. Depending on your children's ages and the plans we have for the session, the time needed for each session can be very different from one to the next. We have one session option and that session is typically between 1 to 1.5 hours long. This gives you a great variety of locations and time to get comfortable in front of the camera or take a little break with little ones if needed, too! We won't end the session until we know we have the photos that we need!
Of course! We have resources to help plan your session outfits and it's something we discuss thoroughly during your session consultation. Your outfit selection is essential in creating the style of session you want, so we are here to help as much or as little as you need us! It's not uncommon for our clients to arrive at their session with a few options and we make quick final selections before we begin!
Hair and makeup can be added to any of our family sessions! Amanda loves working with the whole family! (yes, the guys, too!) Professional makeup and hair can make such a big difference in the final images and it's makes your session day much more relaxed, too!
Please note: Amanda's schedule fills quickly as she works with many bridal and portrait clients outside of our sessions. It's important that you book your session early to ensure her availability for your family session.
Our sessions begin at $1900. Most of our clients invest $3500+ on their session and finished portrait art. If you like the work we do, we encourage you to fill out our contact form. We'd be happy to send over our family magazine that details our portrait investment more thoroughly and schedule a session consultation where we can give you a better estimate of your overall investment!
We do! Because we are huge believers in tangible printed art, our digital collection consists of a USB drive containing full resolution images of your session, an on-line gallery giving you access to prints from a professional photo lab, and a beautiful printed Gallery Album so you have something tangible to enjoy for many years to come! It's the perfect blend of digital and printed portrait art!
We sure do! If we're completely honest, we're kind of perfectionists here. We'd never hand over your beautiful canvas collection for you to have to figure out how to install it on your own. All of our multi-image print collections include installation. Some clients prefer to install on their own but the majority prefer to have us climb the ladder and do the hard math. Either way, we'll get it on your wall and we guarantee it will look perfect even 5 years from now!
