For many, senior pictures are a right of passage into senior year, something they look forward to, and for some, something they’ve been planning for many years! It’s not just our seniors who are filled with excitement, often times it’s the senior parents, too!
That brings me to Olivia and her mom, Michelle. I remember receiving an email from Michelle asking to schedule senior photos. Reading thru the email I noticed it said ‘Class of 2020’ and thought…. hmmm, that must be a typo. Why would I think that? Well, I received that email back in October of 2017, a year and a half before we would open up our calendar for the Class of 2020.
Turns out it wasn’t a typo, they were just excited to get the process started and wanted to make sure they would get a date on our calendar! I’m so glad they did! We had so much fun during Olivia’s downtown Minneapolis senior session!
Funny thing is, they weren’t the last clients to be this excited. Each year since Michelle’s email we have had a waiting list of clients eager to get on our future summer calendars. It feels good to be loved! 🙂 If you’re an upcoming senior and you know you want us to take your senior pictures, it’s never too early to send us that email. We’ll take it from there and make sure you have first dibs when your time comes!
P.S. Olivia is an insanely talented diver! Check out the diving photos we did for her out at the St. Thomas Aquatic Center as part of her senior session! The composite photo of her diving was one of my favorite metal prints we did last summer! So fun!
